Christmas Shoot (Turkey, Lucky and 'Red Baron')

The Christmas shoot contains three competitions shot on a single target.
The target is constructed of lettered squares and is fixed within the boundaries of a normal 'Bisley' target frame.
There are no restrictions on the type of rifle, sights or ammunition to be used.
The course of fire is as follows:-
Five shots are to be fired by each competitor.
Scoring
The marker will record the letter or letters hit by each round, where a vertical line is cut, both the letters above and below the line are recorded, where a horizontal line is cut both the letters either side of the line are recorded, in the case of the intersection of two lines being cut, all the surrounding letters are recorded.
Numerical values are substituted for letters at the end of the days shooting by a 'blind' draw.
Placings will be determined by the highest score being awarded 1st place; the next highest 2nd place and so on.
Appeals on any aspect of the shoot not governed by these rules must be made immediately to the Range Conducting Officer (RCO).
The Range Conducting Officer (RCO) will have total discretion in all matters relating to the competition procedures, except scoring disputes.
Prizes
Highest Score - A Christmas Turkey.
Can be won by any competitor.
Lowest Score - The 'Red Baron' trophy.
Can only be won by a club member, staying to dinner. Who must supply the prize for the next year.
The prize should be in keeping with the 'Red Baron' theme.
All other placings - Luck Dip.
The competitor can only receive a prize if he/she has donated one.
Competitors may not pick there own donations.
