Black Powder Pistol shooting has been part of the Clubs activities for a number
of years but until recently had not been formally acknowledged by the Committee as a
recognised discipline. However, with the steady growth in numbers of Club Members taking
up this form of shooting it was decided that a Committee Member should be appointed to
handle all Black Powder issues. The position was duly filled by Dave McCombie
at the Club AGM in April 2002.
 | What can the Club provide for its Black Powder Shooters?
 | Training |
|
For a Member wishing to experience this form of shooting for the first time training
will be provided. As there are currently no Club owned b/p pistols the Committee Member
for b/p shooting has agreed to make available his pistols and also head the training
sessions. If the b/p Committee Member is unavailable a designated stand-in will assume the
training role.
